Welcome to Grayhart Weimaraners....we have been owned by these wonderful dogs since 1995.
My husband grew up with weimaraners and when we wanted to add a second dog to our household to join our rescue lab, Daisy, there was no choice - it had to be a weimaraner. Fortunately, we did the right thing and through the Weimaraner Club of America found a local weim club who put us in touch with a reputable breeder.
Being familiar with the breed, not just their beauty, but their high energy level, intelligence, versatility and need for obedience training -or they will train you, we knew that weimaraners were the perfect breed for us.
Our first weimaraner, Freia, was acquired as a pet with the possibility of showing. Well, once we met other weimaraner folks and were introduced to all the wonderful things we could do with our dog....let's just say we were hooked and the rest is history.
Currently, we have two weimaraners, Wotan, 11 years old, and Trixie, 3 years old. With my truly versatile dogs, I train and compete in AKC events including conformation, agility, obedience and hunt tests. Wotan is a terrific agility dog and has earned many top placements at all-breed agility trials.
I am the Legislative Liaison Committee Chair for the Weimaraner Club of America and a Board Member of the Garden State (NJ) Weimaraner Club. I have chaired ratings and hunt tests as well as our club's Independent Specialty Show.

Trixie is a beautiful, extremely sweet, medium sized bitch and is a show champion. She is also competing for agility and competitive obedience titles. Trixie comes from championship lines that have produced Best in Show, Best of Breed and Futurity and Maturity winners, Performance titles and most importantly, dogs with excellent health and temperaments. We are hoping that Trixie will be the foundation bitch for Grayhart Weimaraners.
An exciting breeding is planned for Spring of 2008.
